Seasonal delivery driver position delivering Amazon packages in company provided vans! No CDL required.

We need drivers who are reliable, quick, safe, and ready to work every scheduled day. An ideal delivery driver is energetic and ready to get the job done.

Successful drivers put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

Job Type: Seasonal Full-time and Part-time

10-hour shifts; Full-time 3-4 days per week with potential 5th and 6th days of overtime during the holidays for high performers. 

10-hour shifts: Part-time 2-3 days per week

General Daily Activities:

  • Drivers will load their vans from the Amazon Delivery Warehouse every morning (packages are presorted into 15-25 bags)
  • Drivers will deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
  • Drivers need to be able to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to 50 pounds each
  • Drivers will interact in a positive and a professional manner with retail customers’ and the general-public while delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locations
  • Drivers will sometimes need to walk up flights of stairs to deliver
  • Drivers drive high-roof vans around Slidell and the greater Slidell area, ranging anywhere from 25-100 miles per day
  • Drivers make an average of 100-200 stops per day and need to get in and out of the van each time
  • Drivers will adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
  • Training delivery driver routes are provided to start

Locally owned and operating out of an Amazon warehouse as Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP). As a Delivery Service Partner, we partner with “Earth’s most customer-centric retail company” in providing best in class, last mile delivery! Delivery drivers deliver smiles to Amazon retail customers throughout the Slidell, LA area.


Qualifications

  • Loves to drive
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Able to lift packages and get in and out of a van quickly throughout the day
  • At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license in the state of residence
  • Pass a drug screen and/or periodic drug screening
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
