Delivery Associate

As a Delivery Driver with APEX Drive Logistics, you will play an important role in providing safe, reliable, and timely delivery service to our customers. Safety is our top priority, and every driver is expected to make safe decisions at all times on the road, at delivery locations, and while handling packages.

Drivers are responsible for safely operating a company provided delivery vehicle, following an assigned route, and delivering packages to homes and businesses. We believe that no delivery is more important than the safety of our drivers, customers, and communities.

This is an active, fast paced position that involves driving, walking, lifting packages, climbing stairs, and frequently entering and exiting the delivery vehicle throughout the day. Drivers must remain alert, follow safe work practices, and adjust appropriately to traffic, road, and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and responsibly operate a company provided delivery vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws, defensive driving practices, and company safety procedures
• Complete vehicle safety inspections and promptly report hazards, damage, or safety concerns
• Load, organize, transport, and deliver packages safely and efficiently along assigned routes
• Use proper lifting, parking, and package-handling techniques throughout the delivery day
• Use navigation and delivery technology responsibly and only when safe to do so
• Remain alert to pedestrians, traffic, weather, and changing road or delivery conditions
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route issues, vehicle concerns, or unsafe conditions
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the community

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Must be willing and able to safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be comfortable performing a physically active job, including frequent walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and getting in and out of a delivery vehicle
• Must be willing to follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and safe-driving procedures
• Must be willing to complete required background and motor vehicle record checks as part of the hiring process
• Must be available to work scheduled shifts that may include weekends and holidays
• Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
