Delivery Associate

Delivery Associate Job Description:

• Load vans, deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle, walking up stairs and through driveways. Must perform duties in all weather conditions and in a safe and punctual manner.
• You can expect to work about 4 days per week and around 8-9 hours
• Follow strict safety standards on and off the road
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
• Timely and motivated, must be on schedule
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Be customer orientated in delivering packages.
• Respond to road-related issues, including changing flat tires, checking fluid levels, and performing other basic vehicle maintenance when needed.
• Ensure delivery vans are kept clean, organized, and in good working condition, reporting any major maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• We provide paid classroom and on-the-job training to all delivery associate's; Health and safety are always a top priority.

Delivery Associate Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must consent to and pass background and driving record check,
• Must consent to a 5-panel drug screening and medical physical exam
• Have a valid driver's license
• Ability to read and understand English for safety
• Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van and handle basic vehicle maintenance tasks like changing a flat tire
• Must be able to move boxes/appliances up to 300 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must wear closed-toe shoes with reinforced toes, made of either steel or composite material, that fully cover the ankle. (Annual $125 credit to buy work boots off of Zappos).

• If you finish your route early, you will be guaranteed 8 hours of pay, provided all performance and safety requirements are met.
