Delivery Driver – Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate an Amazon-branded delivery vehicle in full compliance with Amazon’s safety standards and company operating procedures, both on the road and within Amazon facilities.

• Deliver between 150 and 200 packages daily to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and care.

• Weekend availability is required.

• Utilize a company-provided smartphone for GPS navigation, route management, package scanning, and customer communication.

• Full-time schedules typically consist of 4 workdays per week; part-time roles are 3 workdays per week.

• Standard shifts are approximately 10 hours per day, depending on route demands and package volume.

• Provide courteous, professional, and customer-oriented service during all delivery interactions, positively representing both Amazon and Compass Logistics Management.

Job Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age with a valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Must maintain a clean and safe driving record and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

• Availability to work at least one weekend day per week is required.

• Proficient in using handheld technology for route navigation, package scanning, and delivery documentation.

• Physically capable of walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and entering/exiting the delivery vehicle multiple times per day—with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to support overall team performance, including assisting with achieving key metrics such as 100% delivery completion and other performance benchmarks.

• Strong team orientation with effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Must consistently meet delivery performance standards, including delivering approximately 20–30 packages per hour.

• Comfortable operating a delivery vehicle and working in a variety of weather conditions.

• Promptly report any vehicle issues, safety concerns, or route obstacles to the management team to support smooth daily operations and uphold safety standards.
