Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Scan, Load & organize packages from our Amazon delivery station (DSE8)
• Follow set delivery routes and time schedules
• Time management skills for completing delivery routes in designed route time (10-hour routes)
• Deliver Amazon packages to customers preferred locations
• Customer satisfaction is very important; you must have amazing customer service skills & will be interacting with customers on a day-to-day basis.
• Able to follow customers delivery notes & paying attention to details to ensure all packages are delivered to the correct addresses
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage, all packages should be delivered in great condition
• Deliver all packages in van (no package left behind)
• Problem-solving skills to handle delivery and route challenges or issues that may occur during route or the load out process
• Must complete entire route provided by amazon independently
• Maintain communication with the dispatcher (TFOE) for any on the road concerns
• Netradyne cameras installed in delivery vans to monitor speeding, seatbelt violations, distracted driving, stop sign violations, following distance & red-light alerts
• Navigate various weather conditions, (come rain or shine) even snow in the PNW
• Being able to drive any van & complete any route
• Basic technical skills to operate and manage the delivery app (Amazon Flex) smart phone will be provided to run GPS & routing (Android-devices)
• The knowledge to solve problems & handle difficult delivery situations.
• Reversing the van up & down difficult driveways is a must.
• Nighttime driving skills needed.

When: 9:30am - 8:30pm

Pay: $24.25 an hour (bi-weekly) + opportunities for overtime

Schedule: Full-time (usually 4 days / 10 hour days).

You will be responsible for delivering packages for Amazon - Task Force Delivery.

We are a delivery service partner (DSP) which is an independent third-party business.

You will be provided with a delivery vehicle to deliver smiles to the community. (no CDL required)

You will be responsible for picking up packages from an Amazon delivery station (DSE8) and delivering them to customers, following the set delivery routes provided by amazon in a timely manner.

Routes may vary & are subject to change daily. Required to deliver 200-400 packages per shift. (around 135-195 stops) You will be delivering to homes, apartments & businesses.

The perfect candidate should have extraordinary customer service skills, a clear motor vehicle report (MVR), and be able to handle physical labor work. A lot of walking & lifting for 10 hours a day.

We want to ensure that all customers receive their packages on time and in great condition while respecting customer property & privacy.

You will directly impact the safety of others, the environment, and critical operations.

This will be a full-time safety-sensitive delivery driver position.

Work Environment: Outside position (Just you & your van all day) On the road, with all kinds of weather conditions. Similar to a roofer, landscaper or laborer.

Amazon also requires you to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle records review (going back 7 years for both), in addition to meeting Amazon’s high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.

• A clear motor vehicle report (MVR) report goes back 7 years. (no reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
• Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps a day
• Valid driver’s license WA state or out of state acceptable (not expired or suspended)
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Fantastic driving skills and knowledge of road safety rules
• Must pass a drug screening (We test for THC)
• Customer service skills is a must
• Good physical condition as the job requires loading, unloading, and carrying packages up to a 50 pounds (must be able to lift, push, & pull all heavy boxes).
