Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

A Rapid DSP Delivery Driver is expected to be on time, courteous, conscientious, honest and hard working.  We work 7 days a week from 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM or when every package has been delivered.  We drive and deliver in all types of weather in a variety of delivery locales.  To be a Rapid DSP Delivery Driver you must be comfortable with hand held technology, following a GPS coordinated route, driving a large vehicle, obeying every traffic law to the letter, while maintaining a steady, consistent pace.  Rapid DSP Delivery Drivers deliver every package following our customers delivery directions and we do it all with a smile!

Rapid DSP is a locally owned and operated company hiring delivery drivers to make small parcel deliveries on behalf of a major online retailer. We are dedicated to providing exceptional delivery service to the Mansfield/DeSoto/Duncanville community.  DELIVERY DRIVERS MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE OF MANSFIELD, TX!

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted, drivers' license
• Ability to pass a standard background check and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to pass a 4 panel drug screen
• Ability to work 4 days a week, for at least 10 hours per day, one weekend day is required
• Ability to safely drive a large vehicle, no CDL required
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, and managers
• Ability to effectively operate a mounted global positioning system (GPS) navigation system
• Ability to use electronic devices for route navigation and planning
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
• Ability to drive and deliver in all types of weather, and in a variety of locations  
• Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts up to 11 hours long
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and sort boxes and packages weighing up to 50 pounds each on a frequent basis
• Ability to climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the workday
• Ability to successfully handle and timely deliver customer packages to their directions
• Ability to timely report for scheduled shifts and maintain reliable attendance - personal transportation is a must!
