Delivery Driver (with DOT)

Experience driving larger (box truck) delivery vehicles for more than 1 year is a plus!

• Work 4 days a week (to include 1 Mandatory Weekend Day, i.e. Saturday or Sunday) for a total of 40 hours (Up to 10 hrs. per day)
• Start your shift at 9:30 am

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver an average of 180 packages per day.
• Safely drive and operate company delivery van at all times.
• Use handheld device and GPS for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Must be able to move and lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift at a steady pace

DOT/MEC Certification is Required!

Our Uniformed Package Delivery Driver Associates will be delivering packages to neighboring customers in the Washington, DC and Prince George's County, MD Area.

Must be able to work at least one (1) weekends and be 21 years of age.

• Eligible to work in the U.S
• Valid Maryland and District of Columbia Driving License
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Successfully complete eight (8) hours of Company-paid DOT training and certification, as well as a DOT Physical and Road Test
• Be familiar and able to operate a smart phone and camera using various Amazon apps and GPS technology without aide.
• ACTIVE DOT CERTIFICATION IS A MUST

Experience:

• Delivery Driver: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Afternoon Shift (Required), 9:30 am Day Shift (Required).
• 1 Weekend Day Mandatory Availability
