Delivery Drivers - 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM Shift - Fantastic Work Environment!

Benefits & Scheduling:

• Standard Work shift is approximately 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM every day of the week!
• $21.00/hr starting and WEEKLY PAY!
• 10-hour shifts are typical (even for Part Time employees)
• 4 day workweek ( approximately 40 hours) is typical for Full Time employees.
• At least 1 weekend day (Saturday -OR- Sunday) is required weekly for both Part Time and Full Time associates
• 1-3 Days per workweek ( around 10-30 hours) is typical for Part Time.
• At least 1 weekend day (Saturday -OR- Sunday) is required weekly for both Part Time and Full Time associates
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift
• A minimum of 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break every shift

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Organization is a key factor to success. Those who load packages into their vans in the correct sequence, plan their days out, and organize packages at every available opportunity thrive here
• Be a Team Player. This means helping other team members every shift.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Operate the company vehicle safely and lawfully at all times.
• If you run red lights / stop signs often or if you use your personal electronic device while driving, this is NOT the job for you! We care too much about the safety of our team and communities to allow those unsafe behaviors.
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages (up to 50 lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes. We strive to deliver every package every day

This is a delivery driver position with I Squared Logistics LLC (an Amazon DSP), delivering packages for Amazon! We are the earliest company to load out every day in Garner! This means getting home every night earlier than most other delivery positions!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. This company truly believes in a safety first culture and holds everyone top to bottom accountable to this. This is NOT a place to work if you are unable to stop at every stop sign and red light, if you're unable to drive at or under the speed limit, if you follow other vehicles too closely, or if you believe that you must pull into customer's driveways to deliver packages.

• Military veterans are welcome!
• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
