Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our logistics team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that items are transported safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, heavy lifting, and familiarity with delivery processes. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading items from the vehicle.
• Ensure that all packages are secured properly for transport.
• Help navigate delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with the driver and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the delivery vehicle.
• Handle any customer inquiries or issues during the delivery process professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with box trucks or vans, including manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Experience with route driving and knowledge of local delivery areas is a plus.
• Valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
• Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
