Type: Full-time | Hourly, non-exempt | Pay: $24.25 per hour

About the Role

Happy Camper Logistics is a growing delivery service provider, and we’re looking for a full-time Logistics Coordinator to keep our daily operation running safely and on time. This is a hands-on role. You’ll coordinate our drivers and routes from the station, and you’ll also be trained and qualified as a Delivery Associate, so you understand the work and can step onto a route when needed.

What You’ll Do

Dispatch and coordination

  • Support daily route operations: monitor driver progress and communicate with drivers throughout the shift
  • Handle callouts, delays, and route changes, and coordinate backup coverage
  • Track attendance, schedules, and driver check-in and check-out
  • Serve as the main point of contact between drivers, the leadership team, and station staff
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, and vehicle issues promptly and accurately

Opening and closing

  • Open the operation on your scheduled days: prepare vehicles, devices, and route materials, and help run the start-of-shift check-in
  • Confirm drivers complete vehicle inspections before leaving the station
  • Close out the day on your scheduled days: confirm vehicles, keys, and devices are returned, collect end-of-day information, and complete daily reports
  • Flag vehicle damage, maintenance needs, and incomplete returns

Delivery driving

  • Complete our Delivery Associate training and remain qualified to drive routes as needed
  • Follow all company and Amazon safety standards when driving or supporting operations

Conditions of Employment

Offers are conditional on:

  • Verification of your right to work in the United States (I-9)
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Satisfactory motor vehicle/driving record check
  • Satisfactory four-panel drug test
  • Successful completion of our delivery driver training

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time, 4 days per week, with opening and closing shifts included in your regular schedule. Hours may vary with business needs. Pay is $24.25 per hour, with overtime paid in accordance with applicable law. You’ll be eligible for legally mandated benefits and pro rata PTO.

Equal Opportunity

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment regardless of age, national origin, race, color, disability, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, arrest or conviction records, or any other protected class status. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with applicable state and federal law.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license of the type required to operate our delivery vehicles
  • Ability to complete our delivery driver training program, including its assessment
  • Strong communication and organization skills, and calm under pressure
  • Reliable attendance and availability for opening and closing shifts as scheduled
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and learning Amazon’s delivery and dispatch tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet, with frequent entry and exit of a delivery van
  • Prior dispatch, logistics, delivery, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
