Operations Manager Responsibilities -- What You Will Do
As the Operations Manager for Rising Tide Logistics, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery operation from our Bordentown warehouse. You will lead Delivery Drivers, dispatch personnel, and frontline leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable package delivery and courier service throughout the community.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee daily delivery operations, including morning dispatch from the warehouse, route execution, return-to-station procedures, and end-of-day reporting.
• Lead, coach, support, and hold accountable Delivery Drivers, lead drivers, dispatchers, and other operations team members.
• Maintain high standards for safety requirements, delivery quality, customer experience, attendance, and operational compliance.
• Monitor daily delivery and driver performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve safety, route execution, productivity, and delivery success.
• Create schedules and staffing plans that support business needs, route volume, and driver coverage.
• Support Delivery Driver recruiting, onboarding, training, ride-alongs, coaching conversations, and performance improvement plans when needed.
• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the warehouse and delivery operation.
• Respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges, including driver callouts, vehicle issues, delivery exceptions, weather conditions, and service disruptions.
• Partner with Amazon station leadership and logistics teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth daily execution of all delivery routes.
• Oversee fleet readiness, vehicle inspections, maintenance coordination, and compliance with company vehicle policies for all delivery vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Rising Tide Logistics policies across all warehouse and delivery operations.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication related to daily delivery operations and driver performance.
• Be available to support early mornings and/or late evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended shifts based on operational needs.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to help lead our founding team of Delivery Drivers, Couriers, and warehouse staff from day one.

Operations Manager Requirements -- Qualifications

• Prior leadership or management experience in logistics, transportation, delivery, warehouse, retail, or a similarly fast-paced operation.
• Amazon DSP or last-mile delivery experience is required.
• Experience managing, coaching, and developing teams of Delivery Drivers or warehouse associates.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead with professionalism, urgency, and accountability.
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving delivery environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Comfortable reviewing delivery and driver performance data and using operational metrics to improve results.
• Ability to work early mornings and/or late evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs when operational support is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to the Bordentown warehouse.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
