Part-Time Delivery Driver- $23.50/ Hour

This is a Part-Time Driver position with Gold Arrow Logistics delivering packages to Amazon customers!

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Benefits & Scheduling:

• $23.50/ Hour paid weekly, overtime at $35.25 per hour
• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 2-6 days work week [40 OR Less than 40] hours is typical
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

We are a team oriented Amazon Delivery Service Partner in Palmdale looking for active, fast-paced, team players to help deliver Amazon packages. Driver Associates strive and work in a fast-paced environment to get every Amazon order to the customer’s door at an efficient time.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

• Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools
• Safely and cooperatively engage with coworkers, management and vendors/third parties
• Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations
• Carry out a series of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
