Delivery Driver

Our Delivery Service Drivers use company-provided vans to load, transport and deliver packages to residents and businesses. This position is for those who desire to provide high levels of customer service, have a great team first attitude and possess a STRONG WORK ETHIC. We are offering Full and Part time positions with Chase Smiles Logistics delivering packages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• MUST BE 21 years of age
• Always represent the Company in a professional
• Care for each company vehicle with respect and with the utmost safety and cleanliness in mind.
• Drive van from home office to designated customer.
• Use company provided device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with home office/dispatch.
• Independently load and unload packages into/out of van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to lift packages (Up to 75lbs).
• Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Inspect van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, outside van for damages , inside the van for any damage and any packages.
• Maintain contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems.
• Secure packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Things to Expect:

• Drivers commonly work 4 days a week including one weekend day. (Weekends are Saturday/Sunday)
• Typical days are 8-10 hours.
• Company Vehicle Provided! No CDL Required!
• Vest is provided during 2 day driver training course, Chase Smiles uniform will be issued around 6-month to year anniversary
• Maintaining a minimum delivery package per hour rate of 25 packages per hour

Required Skills and Experience:

• Customer Service – is always professional with anyone at the customer location.
• Always Represents the company in a service-oriented and courteous manner.
• Is respectful and represents the company brand.
• Previous driving and delivery experience preferred, but not required. We will provide training.
• Must be comfortable using mobile technology in a safe, efficient and accurate way.
• Must adhere to all safety and security procedures. Determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, as required. Report potentially unsafe conditions immediately. Uses vehicle and all provided work material.
• Is consistently at work for scheduled shift and is on time or early. Completes work in a timely manner and within the standards outlined by the Company.
• Follows instructions and responds to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions. Keeps commitments. Completes tasks on time or notifies supervisor, in advance, if a commitment is at risk.
• Meets productivity and service standards.
• Ability to learn, or knowledge of, all equipment in Company vehicles.
• Accurately prepare and complete all required paperwork.
• Work together with co-workers to achieve the overall customer service goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems or better serve all drivers and/or improve productivity.
• Always practice safe work ethics and procedures.
• Effectively communicates through radios and telephones with Dispatch to ensure contact status and locations.
• Maintains strict confidence regarding any learned management and Company information.
• Must possess excellent time management and communication skills.
• Assumes related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
